This restaurant is located in the piazza at Portifino Bay Resort in Universal Orlando. It was very convenient to get dressed in our room and enjoy a short walk to dinner. I had the Mama&#39;s Veal Sorrentina which is veal scallopini, fresh eggplant, tomatoes, roasted potatoes, and provolone cheese in a marsala sauce, but we got it over a bed of spaghetti instead of the potatoes, per our request. I thought the veal would be more tender than it was. This meal was $34.99, which is a bit pricey, but about the average for this restaurant. You could order fettucine alfredo for around $20. We had a very nice gentleman serenade us with an Italian song during dinner. The breadsticks and french bread dipped in olive oil with whole roasted garlic was a wonderful starter to our meal.

My wife and I chose Bice for our 10th wedding anniversary dinner. We arrived by boat from City Walk, Universal Studios....lol....(it&#39;s true) there is a boat. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and well maintained with an old world feel to it. High ceilings, romantic lighting and Mediterranean d&eacute;cor. OH....and even a shiny black grand piano that we both enjoyed. A true Italian experience. Our waiter Paul was wonderful, charming and made some very exceptional recommendations. And those recommendations were spot on. My wife ordered two styles of hand made pastas, both authentic ....the mezzaluna eggplant pouches, and the cappalacio short rib hats. The best part for me was seeing and re-experiencing the joy my wife and I have shared for the last ten years....Bice really made a difference in preserving that opportunity for us. From the wine and pairing suggestions our waiter introduced, to the romantic piano in the background, to the flicker of the candle on the table.....Unforgettable.... TY Bice!!!

The price is very affordable, I passed by here and ate it once, it was really great.

This was the first time we had been to this restaurant. My husband had the Spaghetti, with Meat Sauce &amp; I had the Chicken Fettuccine. The food was very good. We both were able to eat all of our dinners, so just the amount of food. Our servers name was Donovan B. He was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu too, which helped. We would eat at another Carrabba&#39;s too. This restaurant is also right across the street from the hotel we were staying in, so made it nice &amp; handy. Walking distance.

My family enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant (2 boys 14 &amp; 16). Homey, grass house feel. Good menu of fresh pasta, seafood, traditional Italian meals. Good wine list, remember this is on Universal property at Portofino Hotel so a value price is not going to happen. I recommend this for mom and dad looking for good food and wines where kids can enjoy. Singers and accordion players travel the dining room and are talented but very loud.

The atmosphere is quaint and cozy and resembles a family&#39;s formal dining room. The music and the singing by the strolling entertainers is phenomenal. The service was excellent. The food was just ok, and priced high as all theme park food usually is. I would return with my family for the atmosphere and the music.

I&#39;d eaten here several years ago and had memories of an enjoyable meal, although I couldn&#39;t remember what I had ordered. This time around, I split the Frutti di Mare with a friend and found it rather disappointing. Yes, it was a huge plate of food, enough for both of us to fill up. But it was mostly pasta. I would have preferred a smaller serving with more, if smaller, shrimp and scallops. Plus the tomato-flavored beurre blanc was very bland. My daughter had the Gnocchi and found the tomato ragu sauce similarly bland. It was quite expensive all in all, and I don&#39;t think I&#39;d do it again unless I were staying at Portofino Bay. And even then, I think I&#39;d pick one of the other restaurants at the hotel. Yes, the hotel itself is gorgeous, so if you can afford to stay there, go for it! But research which of Mama Della&#39;s dishes are the best before ordering. It&#39;s definitely not the gnocchi or frutti di mare!
